This clinic will provide instruction in more advanced movement and techniques on the ice, including techniques for climbing vertical ice. In addition, instructors will offer insight into being a competent partner and climbing efficiently, saving energy and promoting stamina in the mountains.

Overview
Being an intermediate ice climber is a difficult and exciting time. You’ve got the skills needed to make your way up plenty of incredible formations but are perhaps limited by technique, systems knowledge, and fear of the increasing variables. In Intermediate Multi-Pitch, our expert clinicians will help you with technical multi-pitch ascents and provide tips on maintaining stamina for long days in the mountains.
Qualifications
Clinic participants should be confident climbers. We suggest leading WI3, following WI4-5.
Participants should have a basic knowledge of ice anchors, rope work, and lead technique.
