Rarely climbed ice, local knowledge, and leveling up your climbing are the focus areas for this intermediate ice clinic. You’ll get firsthand knowledge of an unpublished area while honing your footwork, tool technique, and body positioning, all with the goal of propelling you toward advanced ice climbing.

Overview
Being an intermediate ice climber is a difficult and exciting time. You’ve got the skills needed to make your way up plenty of incredible formations but are perhaps limited by technique, systems knowledge, and fear of the increasing variables. In Intermediate Ice, our expert clinicians will help you break through your plateaus and start pursuing bigger ice dreams with confidence and poise.
Qualifications
Clinic participants should be confident climbers. We suggest leading WI3, following WI4-5.
Participants should have a basic knowledge of ice anchors, rope work, and lead technique.
